About PVC Solvent Cement

Two pieces of PVC pipe are connected using PVC solvent cement. The pipe's surface is coated with cement, and the two parts are then connected. As the cement cures, it becomes harder and forges a solid connection between the two sections of pipe. It makes it easier for pipe to pipe, fitting to fitting, or pipe to fitting combinations to form strong, reliable joints. In PVC-U and CPVC plumbing, as well as in sanitation and agriculture, PVC solvent cement can be relied upon. Fast and simple to install, it employs CPVC resin and solvents to chemically bond the pipe and fitting at the molecular level.
